Back in January of 2011 I was contacted by a producer at 2K Sports about finding dunkers to do the motion capture for their upcoming 2k12.  I connected them with 4 of the best dunkers in the world (Kenny Dobbs, Justin Darlington, Werm & Young Hollywood) and once 2K saw what these professional dunkers could do – at a price much lower than Shaq (2k7) – for their franchise, they have been bringing back the dunk world’s best ever since.

For 2K16, which drops today, they brought in Myree “Reemix” Bowden, Michael Purdie and Nick Ross to do some motion capture and Dunkademics was there to film the behind the scenes action.

So let’s take a look back at some of the best dunks behind the dunks over the years.
