“My turn around game is crazy” said Nick Young about his game-winning 3 in double OT at a Drew League game on Sunday. What made the shot so awesome – besides the fact it was a buzzer beater in double OT on the final day of the regular season at the Drew – was Young caused a defender to slide with a behind the back move and then pulled up for a 3 and turned around with his hands in the air before the shot dropped. Once it did drop, he was immediately mobbed by his M.H.P teammates which included another Drew League legend – DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan was the top performer for Team M.H.P with 31 points (21 at halftime), 13 rebounds and 6 assists and Young finished the game with 22 points.  Also worth mentioning about Swaggy P’s clutchness is he was fouled on a 3 with 4.1 seconds left in regulation and made all 3 free throws.

Also deserving of a huge shoutout is 2014 Drew League MVP Michael Efevberha aka Money Mike who scored 40 of his 45 points in regulation and hit a game-tying 3 before Nick hit his game-winning one in double OT.

Nick’s turn around game isn’t always on point.
