Nike: #KobeSystem – Level 6 Beastion | Kanye & Kobe’s Early Dynasties

Published on January 28th, 2012 by Astramskas, David | 1,444 views

The Beastion level is one of the most difficult things to grasp in the KobeSystem, but not for Kanye West.

When Kobe and Shaq were beginning to build a dynasty in LA,  Kanye was an up and coming producer that was about to make a lot of noise in another dynasty – the Roc Dynasty.   Most people saw Jay-Z as the big dog of the dynasty and rappers like Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Amil were the supporting cast but some of the most important people in the dynasty were the up and coming producers like The Neptunes, Just Blaze and Kanye West.

It took a while for Kanye to step out of the shadows of the more known players but when he did he went to the top of the success ladder.  He’s now one of the most respected musicians of today and the past.   This is a story that Kobe can relate to being 2nd fiddle to Shaq in the LA Dynasty but over time he broke free and was seen as second to none especially when the awards, accolades, misunderstandings and hate started coming in.

Let’s go back to Kanye’s early days as a producer.  How many of these songs do you remember or knew that Yeezy was behind them
