After watching former 2nd round pick Nikola Jokic average 22 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists while shooting 63% over the first week of 2017, I said, “Nikola Jokic might be the most underrated and best passing center in the NBA.”

After watching him put up 17 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists in a shocking 132-110 beatdown on the Warriors on the eve of Valentines Day, my love for Jokic’s game has reached a new level. The monster triple-double is the 2nd of his career and his last seven games, which includes a career-high 40-point performance on 17 for 23 shooting. Surprisingly, Jokic, who is a legit 3-point threat (5 for 8 in previous three games) did not even attempt a shot from downtown against the Warriors, while his teammates knocked down a NBA record-tying 24.
