One of the best American films of the past decade has to be the Coen Bros’ “No Country For Old Men.”  Barkley thought it was stupid and he’s obviously entitled to his own opinions but his film reviews wont be landing him in the “Top Critics” list on Rotten Tomatoes anytime soon.

The film was based on a novel by the great Cormac McCarthy (also check out “The Road”) and featured one of the best stone faced killers, played by Javier Bardem, in cinema history.  An emotionless killer that could be Tim Duncan in the NBA world. In this NBA world, or at least for tonight, it was “no country for old men” as Duncan and his teammates weren’t enough to beat the young guns from Golden State.

After 2 games in this series, I just can’t decide who I would bet on to win it. I’m just as comfortable flipping a coin on game 3 as I am coming to a conclusion from over analyzing the first 2. .
