0 points, 0-3 from the field, 0 assists and 2 turnovers. But I think the only number Norris Cole was concerned about after his 12 minutes vs the Nuggets was how many teeth were still in his mouth after a painful looking fall in the 3rd quarter.
Luckily for Cole, he was wearing a mouthpiece that prevented any real damage.
“He went back and after a few minutes he was fine,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. “He is just going to have a fat lip tomorrow.”
Cole confirmed the lip damage.
“Just a little cut on my lip and that’s it,” Cole said, according to the Miami Herald. “My teeth didn’t come out. They would have come out if I didn’t have my trays in, but they held them together. They’re a little loose, but they’re good. … I put a lot of money into these things.”
Not so lucky was Dwyane Wade who suffered back spasms in the game and is currently listed as day-to-day.
