One of the topics on Open Court was the art of shooting and who were the players with the “prettiest shot” in NBA history.  The mentioned candidates were Ray Allen (and his huge impressive calves), Dale Ellis, Glen Rice, Allan Houston and Klay Thompson. Keep in mind they did not say best shooters, although a best shooting list would include many of these guys.  A best shooters list would also have players with “ugly shots” like Larry Bird and Reggie Miller and probably have Stephen Curry over Klay Thompson.

In honor of the mentioned players with “pretty shots,” let’s take a look at their form and some of their best shooting nights ever.
