Pau Gasol scored an international career-high 40 points and grabbed 11 boards to help Spain come back from 11 down to beat France 80-75 in OT of a semi-final game.
“It was an incredible game,” Gasol said. “So hard-fought by both teams and an extremely difficult game to win here in France against a big team, I am very happy and proud for our team”
Nic Batum led the way for France with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Tony Parker had 10 and Rudy Gobert had 8 points, 13 rebounds and a couple of impressive dunks. Dunks i’m assuming Ricky Rubio didn’t care for.
After the game, Rubio retweeted a couple of tweets by Batum and Gobert with the response “class act” and “No class act.”
