On Saturday night, Pau Gasol joined the elite company of Shaq, Kevin Durant and Chris Webber as the only players to score atleast 46 and grab 18 rebounds in the last 15 years. The Bulls big man’s career high (46) was just 1 less point than the entire Bulls team had (47) in Chicago’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

“He wasn’t going to let us lose tonight,” coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Gasol made 17 of 30 shots from the field and was 12 of 13 from the line . The 17 field goals was also just 1 less field goal than the rest of the Bulls had.

“You start making your first couple of shots, your teammates start looking for you, and I was able to find good spots and get in rhythm,” the 34-year-old Gasol said. “I give a lot of credit to my teammates. They made a lot of plays for me and looked for me a lot of times.”
