Despite an awful start, which saw the USA team tied with Venezuela at 18 after the first quarter, USA pulled away in the 2nd (30-8), won by 44 and are now 2-0 in the Olympics.

USA’s Paul George is also 2-0 in the Olympics’ Shaqtin’ a Fool department: Against China, he got crossed, fell and then tried to tell the world he didn’t get crossed and on Monday, he had an amusing moment when he thought he was in a NBA game with waterboys to take trash and abuse from Pacers’ trash (just kidding).

George also finished the game with a 2 and 0, which included this amusing 4th quarter moment at the expense of a defender.

In other positive Paul George news, he is the next Nike signature athlete and his ‘PG1’ sneakers are rumored to hit the market early next year. The NBPA Comeback Player of the Year also had some encouraging words for French gymnast, Samir Ait Said, who broke his leg during an Olympic qualifier this past weekend.
