Brandon Knight is averaging a career-best 20 points a game to go with 5 assists and 4 boards this season. He’s put up monster triple doubles (30/15/10!), had a couple near 40 point games and also caught fire behind the 3-point line a couple times this season. Unfortunately, he also seems to end up on more embarrassing plays, and the ground, than any other player in the league.
On Tuesday night, Knight found himself on the ground again. Was it Paul George’s spin that did it? Was he tripped? Does it even matter? To most it won’t matter. Just like how his 21 points, 8 boards and 4 assists in the loss didn’t. The only thing people are going to remember is another image of Knight on the ground…..and fantasy owners will mention his career-high 8 turnovers.
