The 25,000-point club has its newest member: Brooklyn Nets forward Paul Pierce.
Paul Pierce achieved a new career milestone as the Brooklyn Nets hosted the Atlanta Hawks, reaching the 25,000 career point milestone. He hit the mark by draining a three after an offensive rebound. Pierce is the 18th player in NBA history to score at least 25,000 points.
24,021 of his points were scored while he was with the Boston Celtics. He’s scored 984 since joining the Nets, and counting.
Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki and Kobe Bryant are the only four active players in the league to have reached the milestone.
