It’s a Cocky Celtics thing, you wouldn’t understand.

Remember when Larry Bird won the 3 point contest and on his last shot he put up his index finger in the air before the money ball even went in?  That’s how Jason Terry was feeling last night when he saw Paul Pierce winding up to take a 3 pointer that would end up sending the game into OT.   Right when Paul caught the tipped out ball, from a missed 3 pointer by Jason Terry, Terry put up his index finger to let the Bucks know that this game will be decided in overtime…but unfortunately for the Jet and the Truth the Celtics lost in OT.

Pierce finished with 35 points and 12 rebounds and this is coming off a 40 points 8 rebound game two nights ago.  The 35 year old is averaging an impressive 21 and 6 for the season.

The play also reminds me of Horry’s famous game winner against the Kings.
