On Sunday morning, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced “with extreme sadness” that part-owner, president of basketball operations and head coach Flip Saunders had passed away at the age of 60 after battling Hodgkins lympho. Over the next 24 hours, many NBA players and coaches sent their condolences and shared stories about the very well respected coach.

Saunders is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters Mindy, Rachel and Kimberly, and his oldest child, son Ryan, a Wolves assistant coach.
