Midway through the 3rd quarter of the Hornets win over the Celtics, Rajon Rondo elbowed Lance Stephenson, knocking the notorious flopper to the ground.  Lance got up and apparently hit Rondo in the face and soon after the refs hit them both with techs.

After the game, when asked about the altercation, Rondo, who had his 3rd triple double this season, said nothing happened and implied that Lance flopped.

“Nothing at all. I said something to him and I didn’t know what I said could get a tech. He weighs about 60 more pounds than me, but that’s part of his game.”

“The game is contact. The game we play is contact. Whatever you saw, I don’t know,” he added. “I am strong. But I don’t think I was that strong on that play in particular to knock him down.”
