Hating a$$ refs! I hate when people use the word “haters” or “hating” so for me to say “hating” it means somebody was really “hating.”  And that somebody on Saturday was the ref who called a tech on Memphis’ Shaq Goodwin for paying homage to Vince Carter by doing the elbow honey dip dunk.  Doesn’t that ref know tonight is the night of the slam dunk contest so it’s acceptable to hang on the rim when you are honoring one of the most memorable dunks in dunk contest history?

I’m obviously kidding around and I know most people are going to agree with the announcers and say it was a bad (classless?) decision, but the tech didn’t cost the Tigers the game. Yes, they lost 94-87 in OT but not because of this first half dunk.
