Do you remember anything from the Orlando Magic’s series against the Pacers in 2012? Probably not and if you saw the painful to watch game 1, where both teams failed to score 20 points in either the 3rd or 4th quarter, then you probably don’t have any good memories from the first 47 minutes and 50 seconds of the game. But it was in the final 10 seconds that one of the best moments in Orlando Magic playoff history happened. It wasn’t a play by Dwight Howard, or his replacement Big Baby Davis, or a dunk by Jason Richardson. It was a move by role player Chris Duhon, who finished the game with 0 points, 1 assists, 2 turnovers, had when Danny Granger traveled with 8 seconds left in the game with the Pacers down by 3.
The epic troll dance and win put a smile on every Magic fan’s face but the Pacers had the last laugh as they won the next 4 games.
Duhon was then traded along with Dwight to the Lakers during the off-season and then waived a year later, but don’t feel bad for Duhon, it’s the former NCAA champion’s birthday today and he looks like he knows how to have fun on his birthday.
