As if the 76ers needed another injury, during the 76ers win over the Hornets on Monday night, Richaun Holmes almost broke (I am exaggerating for dramatic purpose) the hand of Dario Saric with a vicious high-five after a missed free-throw. Thankfully, Saric was alright and managed to put up a team-high 18 points to go with 11 boards. As for the Holmes, the high-five from the hot-hand must have helped because he hit the next free throw, which happened to be his only made free throw on four attempts. Holmes wasn’t much better from the field either, making just one of three shots in 19 minutes. But, the 76ers got their 3rd win in a row and if you aren’t familiar with the 2nd round pick, Holmes has shown flashes of brilliance this season: like his 18 points in 19 minutes vs the Clippers on 8 for 11 shooting last month. You probably don’t remember that but will remember this…
Dario also got some high praise from TJ “Most Clutch Player In NBA History” McConnell after the game and a recap video from DownToBuck.
