You got to give Robin Lopez some props for this. How many players would still try to attempt a shot after being taken down with a WWE move when your team is down by 15 in the 3rd quarter to the Warriors? Lopez not only tried to make a shot from the ground after JaVale McGee’s foul (and probably future Shaqtin’ a Fool play), he hit the shot and tried to sell it to the ref.
Lopez made just 1 of the 2 free throw attempts but finished with a team-high 17 points and 10 boards. His 4 assists was also the most among the Bulls’ starters.
Speaking of Shaqtin’ a Fool, Lopez and assists, in case you missed it, here’s a pretty funny assist by Lopez last month.
