Rockets Fans Want You To Notice Kawhi Leonard And His Ever-Changing Pivot Foot

While most of the general sports audience was going crazy over the numbers between MVP candidates Russell Westbrook and James Harden in the first round of the playoffs, MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard quietly put up one of the best playoff series performances ever against the Grizzlies.  He not only seemed to put up career-highs game after game, he was so impressive on both the offensive and defensive end of the court, Grizzlies Coach Fizdale tried to convince us Kawhi was a robot.

Rockets fans know Harden's crew is going to have their hands full trying to stop the Terminator that is Kawhi, so to get a little advantage, they are hoping the refs and league help out. ClutchFans.net put together a video called 'Kawhi Leonard and his ever-changing pivot foot' showcasing how Kawhi has a habit of hoping into a lane, taking extra steps and then changing his pivot foot.

It’s that pivot foot that’s the problem. Sometimes it just slides and slides. Other times he changes his pivot foot completely when the defense doesn’t give him what he needs. It’s the kind of thing that once you see him do it, you can’t unsee it… and you will see it in this series. It cost the Rockets a game back in December when Leonard’s six-step travel set Patty Mills up for a game-winning three-pointer, something the NBA later acknowledged in their L2M report.

All I can say is H-Town you have a problem and so will I if Kawhi doesn't continue to put up the huge numbers I'm expecting. But, I also have money on the Rockets this series so maybe I can have my cake and eat it too.
