I’ve always said that young Shaq was the most underrated and scary center of all-time.  Obviously I’ll take the Lakers dynasty Shaq that was smarter and probably hungrier but in terms of excitement and being a nightmare to defend, young Shaq wasn’t afraid to take a 15 foot jumper, go for the Sportscenter play everytime and make a risky pass.  Granted this is why his major faults, besides free throw shooting which was at a career best, was turnovers and foul trouble.

During Shaq’s last season in Orlando, MJ and Shaq played a friendly game of one-on-one during warm-ups and I think the Diesel showed the GOAT some moves that he wasn’t ready for.
