The day started off with this ridiculous question on ESPN’s First Take – “Is Kevin Durant a top 3 NBA player?

Skip Bayless explains why he doesn’t think the “great” Durant is as great as people like me feel he is and then picks Dwyane Wade, LeBron and Tim Duncan as “cleaners” he would take over KD.  He also has Paul George and James Harden on the verge of making that list.

Moving on, if you are into the gossip pages then you probably came across some articles on Durant that I’m not even going to address here but I’m sure KD would find pretty annoying.

With the gossip and opinions out of the way, it was time for Durant to lace up the sneakers and show his greatness on the court and on the 2nd TNT game of the night vs the Denver Nuggets.  Durant did put up 30 but struggled a bit hitting 7 of 18 shots and only 1 of 7 3 pointers while the Nuggets hit 14 of 31 from downtown. The end result was a 13 point loss and the 2nd loss in a row for Durant and the Thunder.

After the game, Durant had to deal with somebody hacking his phone and calling/texting/tweeting stuff he didn’t want sent out like the following picture.  KD deleted the pic and explained that he’s not hiding the fact that he was smoking, he’s just letting people know that he didn’t post the pic especially since he was at an airport when the pic went out.

I’m assuming today will be a better day for the great Kevin Durant…or atleast I hope it will be.
