This is what Russell Westbrook almost did to 7’1 shot-blocker Rudy Gobert during Monday’s game with the Utah Jazz. It’s unfortunate he missed the RIP worthy dunk, especially since he laughed off a question about “containing” Gobert earlier in the day, but he still ruined Gobert’s night by making a game-winning jumper.
The final bucket gave the non-starting All-Star a game-high 38 points and he also ended up with his 22nd triple-doubles of the season and 59th of his career, tying him with Larry Legend at #5 on the triple-double career-leaders list.
