Another day, another monster triple double for Mr Westbrook.  Russell struggled scoring from the field – missing 16 of 24 shots – but made a living at the free throw line (17-17) and finished with 36 points to go with 14 assists and 10 rebounds in a win against the Hawks.  This triple double gives Westbrook his 7th since the All-Star break and 9th in a 30 game span which is good enough to tie Jason Kidd back in 2007.  Michael Jordan has the record with 12 during the point guard experiment in 89.

“It is great, man,” Westbrook said. “It is a great feeling. Everything was clicking on both sides of the floor.”

Considering Kevin Durant is out indefinitely with a foot injury, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Westbrook continue to put up some of the best fantasy stats we have seen in a long time.
