“I don’t know” is all Russell Westbrook had to say after the Thunder’s loss to the Blazers on Tuesday night when asked about his short but heated exchange with Damian Lillard in the 2nd quarter. The exchange happened when a frustrated Westbrook kicked the ball as Lillard was trying to pick it up. He then bumped Lillard in the back and then swiped at Lillard’s arm before turning around and saying a few sweet nothings.
Westbrook’s night didn’t get much better as the triple-double king finished with “just” 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the 114-95 loss. Lillard had 17 points and a game-high 9 assists in three quarters.
