1 for 8 in the first quarter and just 2 points.  But this is Russell Westbrook we are talking about. The All-Star MVP who has been averaging a triple double in the past month. The MVP candidate who dropped 34 points in the remaining 3 quarters to help the Thunder beat the Bulls by 9 on Sunday.

“You just try to make him work for his points,” Thibodeau said of Westbrook. “He’s playing at such a high level right now and he is making plays on top of it, so he keeps pressure on you at all times.”

This was just the 3rd game in the Thunder’s last 9, Westbrook didn’t pull off a triple double but a double double with 30+ points and 6 assists wont cause any complaints from his fantasy owners.
