Westbrook didn’t get 7 in triple doubles in a row like Michael Jordan did in 1989 but there is a possibility that Westbrook could match Jordan’s 10 out of 11 games with a triple double.  It’s very very unlikely but if you told me Westbrook was going to have 5 out of 6 I would have said that accomplishment is just as unlikely but it happened.  On Sunday, Westbrook put up another monster triple double with 30 points, 11 rebounds and a career-tying 17 assists against the Raptors.

“He’s playing unbelievable basketball right now,” said the Raptors’ Lowry “The man is unbelievable, and he’s pretty much carrying their team right now.”

Westbrook also had 4 steals, a block and 9 turnovers to fill up his stat sheet.  He’s now averaging 35 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists since February.
