Every year as we approach All-Star weekend, I complain about the contestants in the NBA dunk contest and how the NBA neglects great dunkers that actually want to be in the contest like Russell Westbrook.  Westbrook campaigned for years but instead of letting him in the NBA sends an invite to Durant and Ibaka.

I just don’t know what the NBA is waiting for.  Westbrook is still the most explosive point in the league (example above) but he’s not getting any younger.  Let him in before it’s too late.
