Russell Westbrook  was probably criticized more than any other player last season for his shot selection and volume of shots – which many times matched or exceeded Kevin Durant’s number of shot attempts.  And even though many people including Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Bill Simmons don’t consider him a point guard, he did average 6.9 assists a game with a season high of 14 assists in the regular season and 16 during the playoffs when he racked up 27/16/10 in a win vs the Grizzlies.

Above is a video showcasing his playmaking ability and his best assists from last season.
