Ryan Anderson – Knicks Killer!
After a mediocre debut on Sunday and missing 7 of his 9 shots in the first half against the Knicks on Tuesday, new Houston Rocket Ryan Anderson caught fire in the 3rd quarter vs the Knicks, scoring 17 points on 6 of 7 shots, 5 of 6 from 3! He finished the game 26 points, 7 boards and 7 of the Rockets 20 from downtown in just 29 minutes.
Knicks fans probably had some Déjà vu watching Anderson connect on 7 3’s vs them. Back in 2013, as a member of the Pelicans, Anderson stepped up big in the absence of Anthony Davis and hit 7 of 11 from 3 and scored 31 points in a win against the Knicks.
A year earlier, as a member of the Orlando Magic, Anderson made of 7 of 13 3-pointers and finished with a then career-high of 30 points vs the Knicks. I don’t know if it’s New York or Carmelo Antony, but for some reason, Ande rson loves playing against and lighting up the Knicks.
