“Joining @2KSports Dream Team in #NBA2K13 after hearing fans & family say I had to be a part of it. Settle the debate-easy choice!” – Pippen on Twitter

“Feedback on forums, social media, and community interactions were the driving force in influencing Pippen to sign a deal, as fans had shared widespread disappointment over his absence from the 1992 roster,” 2K Sports said in a statement” – NBA2k Sports Rep

I’m glad Pip is back on the Dream Team but i’m not so sure it was the “feedback” that got Pippen to finally agree to allow 2k to use his likeness.  It was just a year ago that Pippen was trying to sue multiple media outlets for $1 million each for claiming that he was broke.  I’m not saying he’s broke but I am bringing up that he’s notorious for making bad investments – like $4 million for a jet that didn’t work.  I’m also bringing up that he’s one of the NBA’s Top 50 players of all-time and he was playing this summer with And1 and a lot of non hall of fame ex NBA players in the Philippines.

Back to NBA2k.  Can’t wait to play it and kick Team USA’s butt with Pippen & the Dream Team but in the meantime I might have to hook up my old Sega and play the following old school greats “TEAM USA” and the before it’s time “Slam City with Scottie Pippen
