It didn’t take long for things to get physical in game 4 between the Clippers and Thunder.  Less than a minute into the game, Kendrick “Shaqtin’ a fool legend” Perkins bumped Serge Ibaka which “caused” Ibaka to “accidentally” throw a “punch” into the groin of Blake Griffin….again.

“No punch thrown,” Ibaka said. “I was in traffic and one of my teammates pushed me from the back. Then I tried to fall and he was already up. It was nothing like that.”

If it was an accident then it would be the 2nd one in the last 2 years. Back in 2013, Ibaka was fined $25k for doing the same thing.

“I didn’t see it,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said of Ibaka’s hit on Griffin in Game 4. “Coaches were yelling in my ear. …I’m sure I’ll see it. I don’t worry about all that.

“I love the physical play. I think they should just keep playing physical, let them play like that. If a guy throws a punch, then the league will take care of it.”

Griffin’s response when asked if he thought Ibake intentionally hit him.

“I don’t know. I can’t get into his head.”

Blake and the Thunder did get a victory with 1 great 4th quarter comeback performance.
