Let me start this off by first congratulating Shannon Brown and his beautiful wife/singer Monica who is pregnant and expecting a baby girl. Now let me say that I’m a huge fan of Shannon Brown and supported LetShannonDunk.com and Brown even after his not so great performance because I consider him to be one of the best dunkers of the past decade. I even credit him with the best missed dunk of the past decade.
Now comes the bad news. Last weekend, Brown was in Riga and had one painful slam dunk fail. I don’t mean just painful to watch a great dunker fail on a dunk but painful in a literal way for one person assisting Brown. The dunk looked like it was doomed from the beginning. People laying on the ground seems too easy. Males dunking to Beyonce singing about girls ruling the world is odd. The Elton Brand/Flintstones steps when he started is always a bad sign.
I hate to say this but maybe we shouldn’t LetShannonDunk…in contests anymore. I hope he proves me wrong in the near future.
Thanks to Kristofers Kallings for the original video and below this nice photo are some more angles of Brown’s nasty fall/fail.

Hopefully you are still reading because here’s the real reason why Shannon fell…
