A lot of people are going to think this video is funny and that’s fine. There’s over a thousand likes and only 125 dislikes so far on YouTube so I’m in the minority that doesn’t find it funny.  I didn’t hit the dislike button but I can’t explain how disappointed I am to see Shaq trying so hard to be funny when for over a decade he was in my opinion the funniest athlete around that could make people laugh with such little effort.  Whether he was dancing or rapping or cracking a joke on a reporter, it seemed so natural.

Now a lot of his humor seems to rely on just being louder, more shocking or more naked than everybody around him.  I still love Shaq but I just preferred the Shaq that would put up 61 on the Clips and make other players and reporters look like fools than the Shaq that dominates his own clips in Shaqtin a Fool.

With that said. Let’s go back in time and take a look at the MDE when he was hilarious without trying.
