Shawn Marion’s “tiger style” shooting form might be one of the oddest the league has ever seen. But the 17-year-vet has made 779 3-pointers, 2,305 free throws and a decent amount of his 7,170 field goals with that “ugly” shot.

If you flashback to his All-Star seasons, when The Matrix was one of the top 5 players drafted in every fantasy basketball league, it wasn’t uncommon to see Marion hit 4 to 5 ugly threes in a game, along with his Rotisserie-loved averages of 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Since today is his birthday and he’s helped me win a couple of Fantasy basketball leagues, here’s a tribute to the high-flying poster maker with the odd shot and odder looking pinky finger.
