‘I don’t flop. I’ve never been one of those guys.’
That was LeBron’s response to the Bull’s coach’s comments, that cost him $35k, about LeBron and the Miami Heat flopping. Last night, in GM3 of the Heat/Pacers series, Miami was putting on a flop-a-thon highlighted by a flop of the year candidate courtesy of Dwyane Wade that many feel should cost him some money.
The saving grace for Wade is that he wasn’t rewarded for the flop. Not only did he not get the foul call but he was called for a turnover. With that said, flopping is a major problem and considering these games are being seen by so many people, I’m assuming the league office will be sending a fine and letter.
I don’t think Wade will be posting that shipment on Twitter like he did his 400 bottles of Gatorade.
