After averaging 38 points, 9.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists, Jimmy Butler was named the NBA Easter Conference Player Of The Week on Monday. He then scored 1 point on 0 for 6 shooting in a loss to the Thunder. But don’t be too hard on him because he was suffering from an illness and still tried to play through it.

“I appreciate him coming out and giving it a shot. That says a lot about him, as a competitor, but he was really struggling, obviously,” coach Fred Hoiberg said about Butler, who did have a team-high 7 assists.

Butler was sent home after the third quarter and will not be travelling with the team to Washington.
