Luck and assassin shouldn’t ever be used in the same sentence but during the Warriors victory over the Grizzlies, the baby-faced assassin that is Stephen Curry was getting lucky. Lucky like throwing up shots in 90s NBA Live and NBA Jam lucky. Actually, more like lucky like 80’s Double Dribble lucky (if you are old enough to remember playing DD while Curry’s dad was just entering the league then you know what i’m talking about).

The shot that had Pharrell singing came in the 3rd quarter when Curry was playing Harlem Globetrotter with a couple of defenders and then threw up an off 1 foot 40 footer that went off glass.  He actually wanted a foul on the shot he didn’t call glass on and if you check out the girl in the background at the 0:34 mark, you can see she wanted a tech on Curry. Tech for what? How about for being too damn good to be taking and making luck shots.

If that wasn’t painful enough to watch, Curry ended the quarter with this near half-court jumpshot!

That 3 gave him 17 points in the quarter and the Warriors a 73-64 lead.

In the end, Curry had 28 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and the Warriors are now 9-0.
