“We’re not going home! We’re not going home!”

But you are already home Steph!

I’m just joking and know what Steph Curry meant after his dagger in the Warriors 120-111 victory in GM5.

“We just did what we’re supposed to do. We’re supposed to win at home,” Curry said. “We know what we still have to do going forward. … We knew if we didn’t win we were going home. There’s no other motivation you need.”

The motivated (is he still at 70%) MVP scored a team-high 31 points to go with 7 boards, 6 dimes and 5 steals. Westbrook had an almost identical stat line but attempted 9 more shots for his 31 and had 2 more assists and turnovers.

Klay Thompson added 27 for the Warriors and after the game also talked about not wanting to go home, even though the game was in Oracle and i’m assuming they went back to their house/apartment/condo/shack/girl friend’s crib/whatever they call their place of residence after the postgame interviews.

“None of us want to go home,” Thompson said. “We’re having too much fun out there.”

Which is why you should want to go home after winning GM6 on Saturday.
