The high flying run and gun Clippers hosted the high flying run and gun Warriors last night in an exciting but exhausting exhibition of basketball with Los Angeles coming out with the 126-115 victory despite a 38 point performance from Steph Curry. Curry’s 9 3-pointers and 38 points were overshadowed by the phenomenal performance by Chris Paul who became the first player to ever have a 40+ point, 15 assist and 5 steal game.
“He was awesome” said Doc Rivers of Paul’s 42 point Picasso.
A few of CP3’s teammates were pretty awesome too including Blake Griffin who you had 23 & 10, DeAndre Jordan who pulled down 17 rebounds including 10 offensive and J-Crossover who came off the bench for 17 points.
Coming off a career high 38 points against the Lakers in the same building, Klay Thompson struggled and only hit 3 of 7 shots for 10 points. Curry’s black eye for the game was his 11 turnovers but after the game, Paul had only praises for Stephen.
