For Stephen Curry’s 27th birthday his team gave him a cade resembling his NBA 3-Point Contest Trophy, Under Armour gave him some custom Curry One “Splash Party” Sneakers and the Knicks played like the Knicks which meant he only had to play 27 minutes.
“It was a fun night all the way around,” Curry said. “It’s special that they’re having fun.”
Of course you are having fun when you are putting up 73 first half-points and outscoring the opponent 47 to 25 in a quarter that ends with a crazy buzzer beating 3-pointer!
“He’s just one of the best in the world at what he does,” Thompson said of his Splash brother.
Coach/Daddy Kerr was also enjoying the Splash party in New York.
“We looked like ourselves again with our pace and taking care of the ball,” Kerr said. “Thirty-four assists to (nine) turnovers, that’s a coach’s dream.”
