After losing a few games by allowing the opposing teams to score at will, the Warriors shut down the Blazers last night by holding them to a season low 33.7% from the field in a 103-88 win.
“We understand that’s been one of our problems, letting teams kind of cakewalk around on the offensive end, let them do whatever they want to do early in the game. In the NBA, if you let teams do that, no matter how much you try to turn it on, if they have a rhythm and they see the basket a certain way, the way the game started, it’s going to be tough to stop them.” said Steph Curry after the game about the defensive effort.
But it wasn’t all D that lead to the win because the Baby Face Assassin, who was on a milk carton this time last year, put up another All-Star line of 38 points 8 assists and 7 rebounds and that was music to the ears of Warriors fans.
In honor of music and the Grammy Awards, Stephen Curry wore his gold Under Armour Anatomix Spawns and those shoes made his performance as hot as Beyonce’s opening act with hubby Jay-Z at the Grammy Awards.
Here’s Steph talking about the shoes after the game.
