It’s hard to draw this up any better. With the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks tied at 120 in the final seconds of overtime, the ball found its way into Stephen Curry’s hands.
Then, this happened:
With just a tenth of a second remaining, there wasn’t enough time for the Mavericks to do anything, and the Warriors came away with the win. Curry was excited.
It was a crushing loss for Dallas, pushing them half a game behind the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoff race. For the Warriors, the win solidified the sixth seed.
