“I got on him a little bit at halftime,” said Steve Kerr about Stephen Curry who had 11 first half points against the Suns. “The last two minutes of the first half were really disappointing. We just lost our focus and he came out in the second half just on fire and locked in. He was incredible.”

Incredible enough to help the Warriors start the 3rd quarter with a  23-5 run and score 25 points in the 2nd half to help the Warriors win their 50th game of the season.

“This is a special team and a special group,” said Curry who hit 6 of 8 3-pointers in the 2nd half. “We are put together to win a championship. That is the big picture but the focus is on how we play night in and night out. You can tell by the way we played tonight.”

This was the fastest the Warriors have ever reached 50 games and the first time since the Spurs in 2011 to win 50 in 62 games.
