Yesterday we posted one of the best NBA interviews I’ve read in a while about Stephen Jackson but the article has been overshadowed by a recent tweet he made threatening Serge Ibaka.  Since the Spurs and Thunder haven’t played in a while, many people thought the tweet was made because of an altercation between former teammate Metta World Peace and Ibaka.

The next day, Jackson responded to those conclusions by saying

“My ibaka comment had nothing to do with Ron artest. Last 2 times we played he ran up on me and i told him in the game next time u run up on me im going in ya mouth. Im speaking for myself. For u all who wanna jump to conclusions.”

What I find interesting about this is he still refers to Metta as Ron Artest which I assume most of the league and people who know him do too.  I just say “Metta World Peace” because that’s how a lot of our readers know as opposed to the K1x wearing Chicago Bull that used to endorse the craziest products such as the D-Band.  If you don’t know what the D-Band is I’ll reveal the hilarious product tomorrow.
