Steve Gayle of the Rossendale Raptors (Don’t act like you don’t know who the National League Divison 4 North Champions of 2012 are!) put together one of the most rediculous recorded stat lines I have ever heard in an OT game against the Birmingham A’s last month.  58 ponts, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals.   With that point and assist total he contributed to over 78  of the teams total points.

As impressive as that sounds to have 50 points in a triple double, remember that Kareem (50/10/11) actually pulled that off and LeBron was just a rebound away (stolen by the league) from pulling off a 52/10/11 game – against NBA competition.

As for the rare quadruple double which has only been done 4 times, you can read all about near quadruples here.

Shout out to UK’s HoopsFix for finding footage of this crazy performance.
