The Nate and Butler show has been one of my favorites of the past weeks and last night the episode did not disappoint.   With only 9 players in uniforms, the Streak Killers took on the Knicks and Nate Robinson blew up for 35 points including 8 in OT.   This ended the Knicks’ 13 game winning streak just two week after ending the Heat’s 27 game streak.

After the game, Melo, who scored 36, was asked about the Bull’s sweeping them in the regular season and he responded with a Kevin Durant on Melo taking the scoring title answer.

“They can have it. They can have these regular-season wins. They did a great job at beating us four times. We’re not worrying about them at this point. We’re concerned about ourselves.”

In a little subplot to this series.  Nate Robinson or “Little Nathan” if you are Steve Novak, brought out the discount double-check/Belt celebration after hitting a few 3 pointers during the game.  Nate and Steve had a little online beef going on back in January over the celebration.

Good stuff. Tivo worthy and better than half of the crappy TV shows that’s flooding Netflix now.
