This isn’t how you want to celebrate a victory over the Portland Trailblazers.
Thaddeus Young was a one man wrecking crew, scoring a game-high 30 points and taking out anything and everybody that stood in his way including his own teammates. On the final play of the game, Damian Lillard had a chance to play last second hero like he has so many times this season but came up short on a layup. Michael Carter-Williams and Thad Young both went up for the rebound and Young unintentionally elbowed Williams in the head. MCW was given some concussion tests and is reportedly OK enough to celebrate the victory that he may or might not remember.
Not so lucky is Portland’s Batum who broke his middle finger.
