After connecting on 7 of 8 3-pointers and scoring 40 points while teammate CJ Miles connected on 8 of 9 3-pointers, Paul George jokingly called him and C.J the “Eastcoast Splash Bros.” He then quickly said “I’m kidding. Twitter, I’m kidding.”
The 40 is a season-high for George and the 32 by Miles is a Pacer career-high for him. As a team, the Pacers set a franchise-record with 19 3-pointers and did it by shooting a ridiculous 73.1%.
More ridiculous than those numbers is how most of the shots were contested.
“When I’m standing this close to you and you’re still making shots, I mean, what else do you want us to do?” said Bradley Beal.
