The "Is That Josh Smith!?!" Tour Continued In Portland

No Dame DOLLA, no McCollum (who found a way to get suspended for the season opener without even playing), no Harkless, not even Aminu, no problem. The Blazers destroyed Maccabi Haifa by 48 points on Friday night with most of their rotation taking the night off and Bad Boy Nurkic playing just 12 minutes. Jack Layman was the star of the night, scoring a game-high 24 points and showing off his outside touch (4-of-7 from three).

For Maccabi, the story was once again the play of former NBA player Josh Smith. The former dunk champ, who unfortunately fell in love with the three-point line around 2013, came off the bench and scored a team-high 17 points in the first half. It was Smith's third preseason game against a NBA team and the third loss for his Maccabi team. During those three losses (by a total of 106 points), Smith averaged 17 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks.....while taking six three a game and shooting 20%.

Here's the highlights from his 16 point (0-4 from three) performance against the Pacers and "lowlights" from his 2-9 from three night against the Jazz this preseason.

If you enjoy watching Smith shoot bricks, then you will love this "fan made" video of him called "Bricks!"

If you are like me, and miss watching the man once known as J Smoove make posters out of centers, throw down in-game windmill dunks and catch alley-oops with his headband over the rim, then you will prefer this awesome NBA mixtape.
